From December 8, the Gallery (AV17) will host the exhibition “New Collection”, which combines the latest works of gallery’s represented Lithuanian sculptors Nerijus and Andrius Erminas, Rimantas Milkintas, Rafal Piesliak, Tauras Kensminas, and Jonas Aničas, created during the last couple of years.
The exhibition presents artworks that have been specifically selected and adapted to the interior. These are sculptures of various sizes, hanging objects, or light installations. The works respond to the artists’ creative lines and at the same time demonstrate the diversity of a contemporary sculptural object, using a variety of technologies and different materials – from traditional to sculpture, such as steel, wood, to modern – concrete, iron beams or even found objects. The artists cover different thematic layers in their works, but the reflections of recent times and human feelings can be felt.
We invite you to visit the exhibition as we will ensure the restriction of visitors flow. We also ask you to follow the recommendations: wear masks and visit with groups of no more than 2 people.
