VAA Nida Art Colony hosted an Open Studios night on Friday, 25th of March. Five participating artists (Lynette Smith (AU), Alicja Bielawska (PL), Šarūnas Nakas (LT), Maria A. Maeser (AT), Sara Wolfert (SE)) presented their art projects which they had produced during the residency at Nida Art Colony. Alicja Bielawska (PL) together with contemporary dance performer and body movement therapist Kristina Aglaja Skaldina (LT) created a performance which was related to Alicja’s drawings and sculptures. The artists will show this performance at Alicja’s exhibition (curated by Juste Kostikovaite) in the project space “Sodu 4” (Sodų str. 4, Vilnius) on the 4th of May. Alicja Bielawska’s residency is organized in cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Culture.pl and A-I-R Laboratory, CCA Ujazdowski Castle.
