On December 16th, I invite once again to walk the procession of the 520th anniversary of Panevėžys. This time, pushing a two-door cabinet. At the end of the walk, in front of the Stasys Eidrigevičius Arts Center, I intend to metamorphose this cabinet into a vibrant rainbow (!)
Inspired by the parade of Panevėžys city organizations and communities that took place this summer. The management of the Stasys Eidrigevičius Arts Center did not allow the use of rainbow colors for the “Pragiedruliai” employees, arguing that it was not yet deemed appropriate for Panevėžys.

Saulius Leonavičius is an interdisciplinary artist using practices of participation, intervention, appropriation, and performance. In his work, he questions established meanings, values, status, and power positions or claims in the field of art. S. Leonavičius completed his doctoral studies in art at the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
