Step beyond the frame and into a borderless dialogue. Powered by augmented reality, Unframed navigates the intricate textures of today’s political landscape through the eyes of Europe’s contemporary artists. From Silandro’s alpine stillness, the conversation begins—bold and unbound.

Unframed, augmented reality (AR) exhibition exploring the political dimensions of contemporary life, is set to open its European tour at BASIS Vinschgau Venosta in Silandro, Italy. Organised by De Structura, contemporary art platform from Estonia, the exhibition will be on view from May 16 to 31, 2025, inviting visitors to engage with contemporary art in a radically different way.

In a time when politics infiltrates all aspects of life, from climate change and technology to social justice, Unframed brings these themes closer to home. The exhibition redefines the gallery experience by integrating AR technology to display powerful works by contemporary artists from all over Europe. The exhibition cuts across borders and disciplines, opening up the conversations that matter.

Unframed AR reimagines how we encounter contemporary art, blurring the line between artwork and audience, between private reflection and public discourse. It is more than an exhibition, it is an invitation for dialogue and exploration. The result is a collection of striking artworks that reflect on our realities and interact with the world around it — and the viewers.
