The 10-day-long opening marathon of the 8th Artishok Biennial Botanical Witnesses will begin with the presentation of Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze’s video work Botanical Victims in the cinema hall of Tallinn TV Tower on September 29th at 6 pm. The marathon will end with the presentation of performance artist Liisa Saaremäel’s installation Private Party at the Tallinn Botanic Garden’s outdoor area in the evening of October 8th, followed by the biennial exhibition opening in the Palm House. Artishok Biennial, which will be open until the end of October, brings ten commissioned artworks and a hundred art critical texts to the exhibition visitors.
