Narva is offering two children’s literature grants and residencies, a residency program at the Narva Venice Embassy, and a residency for creating an urban installation in the center of Narva. The calls are aimed at creative people from various fields of art.
Children’s literature residency programme welcomes applications from writers and illustrators
For the third year in a row, NART collaborates with the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre to offer a unique residency opportunity for one writer and one illustrator to focus on their creative work in the unique environment of Narva. Both selected authors will receive a €1500 grant. More information is available at

Summertime art residency at the Narva Venice Embassy
This is a self-funded three-week residency located near the boat garages by the Narva Reservoir. Artists and creatives from all fields are welcome to apply, especially those interested in engaging with the local community and exploring the environment and everyday life of Narva Venice. Public space installation residency NAIR 2025
NART, in collaboration with the Narva municipality’s department of architecture and urban planning, is once again launching an open call for a large-scale installation or sculptural work that will also function as an outdoor exhibition platform. This year’s installation will be placed near the Town Hall, along the edge of Stockholm Square. We welcome proposals from architects, sculptors, and other spatial practitioners.
