On October 7, 2022, at 5 p.m. in the FAMM invites you to the ANIMATEST 2D animation workshop. During the workshop, you will get to know traditional and digital 2D animation, learn about its history, methods and approaches, some examples of 2D animation will be shown. You will also be able to challenge yourself by creating short animation scenes and movements, and experience how “simple” animation works.
Emilija Dirsytė is an animations student at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. She specializes in traditional and digital 2D animation, as well as 3D animation. She is currently working in the animation industry, completing various internships with the director Gediminas Šiaulys, at the game studio “Estoty” and elsewhere. The artist also explores the forest and nature through sketches, writing and the work of other artists.
Eva Rodz is a fourth-year animation bachelor’s student at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. She won the main prize in the Lithuanian creators program at the BLON animation and video game festival with the short 2D animated film “I AM TIRED”. Participates in various projects and festivals, including Ars Electronica, Riga IFF, and others.
