Pekka Korvenmaa lecture "Influence flow in the periphery. Finnish architecture and the Baltic sphere"

On January 30th, Thursday, 8 p.m. Architecture [discussion] Fund invites to a lecture by prof. Pekka Korvenmaa at the National Art Gallery (NDG), Vilnius highlighting the influence Finnish architecture had in the Baltic sphere, including Lithuania, from 1900 to 1960s. It demonstrates how “peripheries” can communicate without always being subordinated to big centers like Vienna or Berlin.

The conversation is arranged in collaboration with VGTU Faculty of Architecture. It is the third event of the lecture series “HOW DID I GET HERE?* NATIONAL IDENTITY IN ARCHITECTURE”.
