MO Museum will open its doors to the public on October 18th, 2018. The opening event will last four days, so that everyone can find time to visit and celebrate the new cultural space.
The opening event programme will invite people to connect, cooperate and create the museum together. The programme will bring out the following message: MO Museum is about modernists. It is not about specific ideology, movement or group. Anyone who is open-minded and forward-looking can be a modernist. The idea behind the opening event is to build an interdisciplinary community based on collaboration and exchange of ideas.
The opening event programme will include concerts, performances, lectures, workshops, discussions, meetings with MO collection authors, museum founders Mrs. and Mr. Butkus, architect Daniel Libeskind.
