Part of a body is drawn on a piece of paper, which is folded and passed on to another player. Nobody knows what the body, drawn by several people, will look like when the paper is unfolded. This is a parlour game ‘le cadavre exquis’ that is popular with children and favoured by surrealists. It becomes a reference point for the exhibition, in which famous contemporary Lithuanian artists, who also work as teachers, make a creative puzzle together with their students. The aim of the exhibition is to form a collaboration between teacher and student, without emphasising anyone’s superiority in the creative process.

The exhibition commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Vilnius Justinas Vienožinskis Art School. The intention is not to put on a retrospective exhibition of works from the school’s large archives, but to focus on the present, on students and teachers who currently work at the school together. The project was prepared specially for the exhibition by ten creative groups at the school, in the process of which some unexpected creative impulses and ideas with ramifications going in all directions were born. The communicative aspect and the playfulness of the creative process are stressed in the exhibition, in an attempt to involve as early as possible young creators on the Lithuanian art scene, and to model a prospective vision for a contemporary art school.
