On November 6 contemporary art and fashion festival Virus’25 opened in Šiauliai, Lithuania. As part of its program the festival presents an outdoor exhibition “Accessories” curated by Vytautas Viržbickas and Paulius Andriuškevičius. Seven sculptures by contemporary Lithuanian artists were installed for the duration of the festival in Šiauliai Resurrection square. Figurative and colourful outdoor works refer to the fashion industry and create contemporary scenarios in a traditional setting. The works can be loosely interpreted as style attributes or fashion accessories and point to topics of body, consumerism, beauty, politics and gender. The exhibition is open until December 1.
