One of the most famous art galleries in London – Saatchi gallery – has announced the finalists of The Saatchi Online Showdown competition ‘Painted Faces’.
Young Lithuanian painter Kristina Ališauskaitė entered The Top 10 from 3254 participants. 300 artists were selected at the first round – 50 submissions with the highest scores from the public voting by saatchionline community and 250 submissions as voted on by the Saatchi Online professional team. From the 300 submissions that advance to the second round, 30 finalists were selected. Eventually the final voting by the Jury revealed the winners. The painting called ‘Didier’ by Miguel Laino won the 1st place. The exhibition featuring the work by Top 10 artists will take place at The Griffin Gallery in London from 5 -20 December.
The paintings by Kristina Ališauskaitė, represented by the mobile gallery ‘The Rooster’, are also shown at the 6th INCUBARTE International Art Festival in Valencia, Spain. Furthermore, Kristina will take a part at the exhibition of ‘Young Painter Prize’ in Vilnius Contemporary Art Center from 22nd of November, 2013.
