• Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art

    The Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (LCCA) is an internationally active non-governmental culture organization that offers an independent perspective on current topics and recent historical events through the looking glass of art.

    Since 1993 the centre holds various exhibitions and organizes the international contemporary art festival SURVIVAL KIT.

    LCCA carries out research and publishes articles, collects and distributes information on contemporary art, as well as organizes lectures, discussions, conferences and cultivates interdisciplinary and innovative culture initiatives, not to mention participating in creating culture policies.

    The director of the LCCA is Solvita Krese.

    The information centre and the LCCA Office Gallery, which serves as a platform for experimental exhibitions and workshops by Latvain and foreign artists, as well as discussions, lectures and film screenings
