From June 28th to July 13th an international outdoor art exhibition Kilometre of Sculpture (KoS) will be held in the public space of the city of Rakvere in northern Estonia.

KoS is the first large scale open air exhibition of its kind in Estonia and as such aims to offer a new model for the Estonian context that provides a reliable and supportive outlet for artists seeking to exhibit their work and extend their career. KoS will present works by artists from around the world that explore the unique sites offered within the urban space and environs of Rakvere. It will cover a walking route that is approximately one kilometre in length, starting in the hilly exposed landscape of the castle park above the city and weaving its way down through the urban space to one of Rakvere’s picturesque city parks on the western edge of the city centre.

KoS welcomes applications in any material, technique, genre and style, and from anyone working in any field of the arts.

KoS is:

100 kilometres east of the capital, Tallinn
270 kilometres west of St Petersburg
