We announce an open call for summer (guest) residencies on the following dates: July 9-31, August 8-31, September 3-21. The deadline for submitting applications is June 26, 2018.
The KAH summer (guest) residency program seeks to support independent artists, artists’ groups or initiatives who lack spaces for work, rehearsals or other activities. The program focuses on private creative processes, development of new, existing or ongoing projects.
The selected KAH space and some technical resources will be provided free of charge for the selected activities to be developed on the working days of KAH from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The proposals provided do not need to be related to the activities of KAH and should not be specifically adapted to the KAH spaces. Public presentation of creative processes developed during the residency is not compulsory. Opportunities for the implementation of events will be discussed with the curator of the KAH residences program, if necessary.
Applications can be submitted by representatives of various cultural and artistic fields (architecture, performing arts, dance, circus, theater, visual arts, music, literature, creative industries, cultural heritage, cultural studies, etc.).
Maximum duration of a residency is 3 weeks.
Applications have to be submitted by June 26, 2018.
