Kalnciema Quarter in Riga is part of unique European wooden architecture heritage. The ensemble of renovated wooden buildings harbours the history from the end of the 19th century. The complex is unique in the European level, as the wooden buildings of this period in other countries, have not survived in such concentration. Kalnciema Quarter revival began in 2001. The Quarter now hosts series of cultural and business events.

Art gallery offers exhibitions in orchard, graphics and oil paintings by Latvian and international artists, photography and sculptures. Main focus is on young, promising artists.

Summertime Quarter hosts open air concerts.
