POST gallery invites to the continuous International exhibition of contemporary sculpture ,,Mind the object #3” for the third time. This year the project expands its places – the space of projects “KABINETAS” joins to exhibition exposure.
Contemporary art space, where it is usual to see interdisciplinary pieces, media art, manipulation of images, simulations of video and sounds, complicated and sometimes complexed concepts, this time invites to stop by the object, available to walk around it, to touch it, to cover it by eyes and minds.
There the object of art is interpreted as physical/mental barrier, paying attention to the object itself, making it the center of traction: the object as sign, symbol, shortcut, barrier.
The exposition concludes of selected works from OPEN CALL candidates and pieces offered by invited artists.
One of the first exhibitions of contemporary sculpture in Kaunas showed up in POST gallery in 2014.
