The “River” gallery started their residency program in 2019. The purpose of it is to support international arts community members, artists from various countries, living and working outside the biggest international arts centers, to provide a platform for emerging artists to present their artworks to public audience, to communicate with local artists and to participate in arts events in Los Angeles, promoting national and international trade. Rosanda Sorakaite is the first artist to have participated in this program.

This is the first collaboration project between the “River” (Los Angeles, USA) and “Meno parkas” (Kaunas, Lithuania) galleries.

The exhibition in Los Angeles is a part of an international project “Art line”, managed by the “Meno parkas” gallery. The project is partially funded by Lithuanian Culture Council and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
