A guest’s feet leaves a unique word that no one will wash away from the carpet. The dance of a key and a lock is very short, but in this way they share secrets about which the pianos whisper in the evenings.”

On the 6 th of September we are inviting you to the Composer’s House to discover Beatričė Mockevičiūtė’s exhibition “Asukas“ (a habinant in finnish). Here, where the architectural spaces are famous for their decade old, and still unchanged, interior, the artist creates a narrative about the reflections that visit the walls and floor of the place.

Beatričė Mockevičiūtė is an active artist of the young generation who has a particularly sensitive sight of what is happening around her. She uses the industrial as well as the everyday materials in her works, changes their initial purpose and, thus, transforms them into some subtle tools for observation.
