The project space "Malonioji 6" invites to the opening of Antanas Šnaras exhibition "Stone letters about necessity to forget" on July 19 at 6 pm.

Never try to forget something,
no matter how much you want to.
There`s a reason why
your mind won`t let it go,
even if your heart has

E.g., stone has a memory, it remembers a stone carver’s strokes. Silicon crystals,
glued by heat, pressure and time into granite formation, are able support very
thin forms. Vibrations (sound) can check the solidity of a stone.
When grinding stone and thinking about stone`s ability to remember, I, myself,
can forget a lot of things. Can`t confirm this, I probably have already forgot.

The exhibition will be open for visitors at "Malonioji 6" (Malonioji g. 6, Vilnius) from July 19 to August 10, Thursdays-Fridays 17-19 h.
