On June 26-30 LITEXPO exhibition and conference center hosts the international contemporary art fair „ARTVILNIUS’13“.
50 galleries from 11 countries are taking part in the fair for the fourth time, 36 of which – Lithuanian and 14 foreign. The artists are presented by a wide range of galleries from Denmark, Italy, Great Britain, France, Poland, Germany, Ukrain, Belarus, Portugal and Latvia selected by a jury: a painter Algirdas Griškevičius, art historian, the head of LDS (Lithuanian Artists’ Association) printing-house dr. Danutė Zovienė, LMGA president, „ARTVILNIUS’13“ director Diana Stomienė, art critics Ernestas Parulskis and Sonata Baliuckaitė.
As every year during the run of the fair, an exhibition „Takas“ displays sculptures and installations by Vladas Urbonavičius, Kęstutis Svirnelis, Martynas Martišius, Mindaugas Tendziagolskis, Marius Skudžinskas, Andrius Erminas, Nerijus Erminas, Algis Kasparavičius, Andrius Petkus and Rafal Piesliak.
