ArtVilnius’17 is happy to invite everyone to the eight edition of the international contemporary art fair at LITEXPO. The biggest visual arts event in the Baltics is treating visitors to a rich programme this year: hundreds of artists, thousands of intriguing and inspiring artworks, exclusive meetings with art world celebrities, enlightening discussions and an enticing educational programme Among Creators. ArtVilnius’17 will doubtlessly be this summer’s most memorable art festival.

The fair’s exclusive partner, Lewben Group, is bringing an international exhibition, managed by Lewben Art Foundation, which includes a number of internationally-renowned names. The fair’s project space will showcase a project by the contemporary art museum MOCAK Muzeum Sztuki Współczesnej w Krakowie / Museum of Contemporary Art(Krakow), a programme of selected videos from the biggest videofestival Videonale, an installation by the Baltic Young Artist Award-winning creator Juhan Soomets, pieces by the celebrated US-based Lithuanian artists Jonas Mekas and Vytenis Jankūnas. The programme will also include the international sculpture, installation and performance exhibition Path featuring some 40 artists.
The educational programme will be of interest to the fair’s young and adult visitors, inviting them to workshops with stimulating tasks and opportunities to try out new art-making techniques while working on one’s own piece of art.
